RACE FOR LIFE: Snohomish County Parks &Recreation presents a Race for Life BMX event June 12 at McCollum Park (600 128th St SE., Everett). The race benefits the Leukemia Society of America. ABA membership not required; long pants, long-sleeved shirt and a helmet are required. Entry fees are $5, plus $5 minimum donation for the Leukemia Society. CHEER DANCE SKATE PROGRAM: The Lynnwood Ice Arena will be offering a six-week cheer dance skating program starting June 26. This new team and individual sports combines the artistry of figure skating, the power of ice hockey, the dynamics of cheerleading and the creativity of dance. Participants will learn cheer motions, skating skills and a set routine that will be performed at the end of the program. The fee for the class is $95. The arena has registration forms. MLT HOOPS CAMP: The city of Mountlake Terrace and Mountlake Terrace High School host a basketball camp for players ages 7-15 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 23-25 in the Mountlake Terrace High School gym.
