HIGHLANDER HOOPS: Shorecrest High School boys basketball coach Bill Liley presents Highlander Hoop Camps for players entering grades 4-8 (June 23-27) and high school players (June 30-July 3). The program will focus on ball handling, passing, dribbling, shooting, individual/team offense and defensive drills and situations. Prizes range from team logo basketballs, T-shirts and shoes, to free tuition for next year’s camp for the camp MVP. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt. Cost is $94. RJF SIGNUPS: Richmond Junior Football is looking for coaches for all levels of play. Training and equipment are provided. Signups are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Richmond Junior Football equipment room located at the north end of Shoreline Center by the gym. Information: 206-365-7411.

CONDITIONING CAMP: Signups are underway for the ninth annual “DDD Conditioning Camp” for boys and girls entering grades 8-12. The eight-week program is for athletes who are interested in getting in shape for the fall sports season or for those who just want to stay in shape over the summer. Fundamental and advanced weightlifting, footspeed drills, sprint workouts, plyometrics and dot drills are covered. SCC HOOPS CAMPS: The Shoreline Community College men’s basketball program is offering camps for boys and girls in grades 3-8, June 30-July 4, July 7-11, and Aug. 4-8. The program concentrates on basic skills such as ball handling, passing, dribbling, shooting and individual and team offensive and defensive techniques. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. BASEBALL/SOFTBALL CLINICS: Brooklyn Baseball Club is conducting 11 weeks of summer baseball and softball clinics. Brooklyn is also interviewing players ages 12-14 for two private baseball tournament teams. VOLLEYBALL CAMPS: The Space Needle Volleyball Foundation, run by Shoreline Community College coaches Mark and Raquel West, is offering several camps this summer. Little Spikers camp for boys and girls in grades 4-8 will be July 7-11 at Ingraham High School; High Performance camp for girls in grades 9-12 will be July 7-11 at Kellogg Middle School; and Elite Olympic camp for advanced high school and college-level players will be July 14-18 at Kellogg Middle School.
