SOFTBALL CAMP: Pacific Northwest Softball School hosts a fastpitch summer camp for girls ages 13-18 on July 7-11 and for ages 8-12 on July 14-18. Information: Lonnie Hicks, 360-659-9292.

BASKETBALL CAMPS: Advantage Basketball Camps are offering ball handling camps July 7-11 and July 14-18 at Edmonds Community College. Shooting camps will be June 28-29, July 12-13 and July 19-20. Information: 425-670-8877 or www.advantagebasketball.com.

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED: The city of Mill Creek Recreation Division is offering Challenger British Soccer Camps from July 28 to Aug. 15. Challenger camps provide players with the opportunity to receive high level coaching from a team of international experts. Coaches are from Great Britain and are licensed experts with broad soccer experience.

Host families are needed for the coaches for one-week periods. Coaches will be provided with their own transportation to and from the camps. Host families should provide a bed, shower laundry facilities and means. Discounts are available to participants whose families hosts coaches.

SOCCER CAMP: Boys and girls U-9 through U-12 can improve their skills at “First Touch Soccer Camp” Aug. 4-7 at Kasch Park in Everett. Each camper will receive a free mini soccer ball and members of the Seattle Sounders will make an appearance. Come meet and learn from the pros. Each session is from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Cost is $60. JACKSON HOOP CAMP: The Jackson High School basketball camp for youth in grades 4-8 will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 7-11 at Jackson High School. The camp will emphasize fundamentals, fun and competition. Camp instructors include Wolfpack boys coach Steve Johnson, his staff and Jackson players. The fee is $80. BASEBALL/SOFTBALL CLINICS: Brooklyn Baseball Club is conducting 11 weeks of summer baseball and softball clinics. Brooklyn is also interviewing players ages 12-14 for two private baseball tournament teams.
