A stabbing victim was transported to Stevens Hospital Wednesday morning after a road rage incident near Edmonds-Woodway High School escalated into a fight in a nearby parking lot.
No information regarding the victim’s condition was available as the Enterprise went to press.
Around 10:24 a.m., two men pulled their cars into the parking lot of the Burger King in the 7600 block of 212th Street Southwest and began fighting, police said.
“One subject apparently produced a knife and stabbed the other,” Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
An investigation is ongoing, but police have one subject in custody, Anderson said.
The ages of the subjects are unknown, police said.
