“The Gin Game” — 8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Sundays, through Oct. 15: Edge of the World Theatre, 9673 Firdale Ave., Edmonds, presents D.L. Coburn’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning comedy about octogenarians in a state-run nursing home. Additional 4 p.m. matinees Saturdays. “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” — 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 20-30: Alternative Stages presents Kathryn Schulz Miller’s dramatization of Washington Irving’s spooky classic story, at the Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds.
