“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” — 2 p.m. Saturdays, 7 p.m. Sundays, 8 p.m. Mondays &Tuesdays, through Dec. 13: Driftwood Players presents the return of Alternative Stages production of Barbara Robinson’s story about how the worst Christmas pageant ever is transformed by the spirit of the season, at the Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds. Christmas Dessert Theatre — 7:30 p.m., Friday-Sunday, Dec. 16-18: North Sound Church presents this 2nd annual event featuring Taproot Theatre Road Company’s presentation of “Nativity on the Square,” a humorous and poignant look at how lives are changed when a nativity scene comes to life. Holiday desserts served against the backdrop of live Christmas jazz, at the Edmonds Conference Center, 201 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds.
