The Edmonds Starz U12 softball team beat the Woodinville Reign Green 5-0 in the Northwest International Invite championship game June 8 in Stanwood. The Starz went undefeated in the six-game tournament. Jordan Wilcox pitched 11 shutout innings in the final two games to secure the title. Kayla Watson took second in the long drive competition and pitchers Lindsay Hendricks, Sydney Mahan and Julia Nealer won awards in the accurate throwing competition. The Starz are coached by Mike Watson and Matt Wilcox.
