The Meadowdale dance team finished first for the fifth year in a row in the Class 3A dance competition at the dance and drill state championships March 20 in Yakima. The Mavericks received a “superior” rating for their performance. Meadowdale also competed in the hip-hop division and received a “superior” rating for its performance, the highest possible.
