Edmonds

A Taste of Edmonds: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday &Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8-10, Washington’s 2nd largest three-day festival celebrates its 26th year of offering tastes of local restaurants and food vendors, arts &crafts booths, children’s area, four entertainment stages, roaming performers and separate beer and wine gardens, at Civic Playfield, Sixth &Bell, Edmonds. Hot Autumn Nites: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, annual classic car show in downtown Edmonds features stock cars &trucks, muscle cars, modified custom cars and vintage classics with awards, games, prizes, at the fountain area, downtown Edmonds. Shoreline

Celebrate Shoreline: Noon-5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15-17, Shoreline’s 13th birthday celebration includes a teen skateboard competition and party event at the Connie King Skate Park; a 5K walk/run and 10K run, parade, a festival at Ridgecrest Elementary School featuring food booths, arts &crafts, community groups and car show and a sandcastle contest at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park. Brier

Brier SeaScare &Porchlight Parade: 6-10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, this casual community event features a kid-focused parade with a “sea” theme — scary sea creatures, octopi, pirates, boats, nautical or any sea related idea, kid’s games and activities, food drive, book sale, musical entertainment, pie eating contest, “Outdoor Cinema,” and food and beverages, in downtown Brier, between Brier Library (232th) and Brier Realty (238th). Bothell

Bothell RiverFest: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, annual community event celebrates the end of summer with a car show, City of Bothell Show &Tell, craft &merchants market, inflatable toys and other activities for kids, hobby &volunteer expo, and a concert, between Main St. &NE 185th St., downtown Bothell.
