Swingin’ Summer Eve — 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26: Annual event includes live music by Rainy City Riff Raff, a barbecue fundraiser by the Shoreline Fire Dept. and pre-concert games and activities for children, at Cromwell Park, 18009 Meridian Ave. N., Shoreline. Celebrate Shoreline — Noon-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20: Begins Friday with teen skateboard competition and party at the Connie King Skate Park, Saturday opens with the 5K walk/run and 10K run at 9 a.m., followed by parade at 11 a.m. along 15th between 180th to 165th streets, ending at Ridgecrest Elementary with food booths, arts &crafts, community groups and car show.
