Support your newspaper delivery person

We receive excellent delivery service from our Shoreline Enterprise carrier. Once a month, he leaves a message about what is going on in his life and a self-addressed envelope for the recipients to remit a payment (donation) for the otherwise free newspaper.

I was appalled this month. His letter related to the fact that many residents ask: “Why there is no postage on the envelope?” How cheap can the residents of Shoreline be? Many residents do not even make a payment for the paper and the delivery service. Our paper delivery person calculates that on average he receives eighty cents per paper per month. What a shame!

Come on, support the delivery person and donate for his or her efforts at a least a buck or two each month.
