Tail lights stolen off vehicles

Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police:

Jan. 8

Suspicious circumstances. 16700 block Aurora Ave. N. Police observed someone trying to drag a female into a van. The female was drunk and had been using drugs. She was transported to a hospital.

Burglary. 2100 block N. 185th St. An unknown suspect kicked in a door of a residence and stole jewelry.

Burglary. 2500 block NE 145th St. An unknown suspect kicked in a door and stole a checkbook from a residence.

Suspicious circumstances. 5100 block NE 193rd St. Police discovered a locked vehicle with an open trunk.

Jan. 7

Auto theft. 16700 block Corliss Ave. N. A Toyota van was stolen from a victim’s driveway.

Jan. 5

Alarm. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A power outage tripped a bank’s alarm.

Jan. 4

Burglary. 1700 33rd Ave. NE. Residents returned home from vacation to find a door to their residence had been broken.

Vehicle prowl. 14500 block Bothell Way NE. Police responded to reports of a vehicle prowl in a parking lot.

Civil problem. 14500 block Bothell Way NE. A guest of a former tenant caused antifreeze to be dumped in an apartment complex parking lot when he was working on his car. He agreed to clean up.

Larceny. 20200 block Ballinger Way. A suspect smashed a car window and stole a purse from the trunk of a vehicle after watching the victim place the purse in the trunk.

Jan. 3

Motor prowl. 3800 NE 178th St. Resident was alerted to a possible motor prowl when a vehicle’s car alarm was activated.

Vandalism. 1600 block N. 196th Pl. Police responded to a report of tagging.

Larceny. 15500 block Westminster. A woman was grocery shopping when someone stole her checkbook from the top portion of her purse.

Jan. 2

Theft. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A female stole a DVD from a library.

Harassment. 3500 block NE 204th St. An ex-boyfriend threatened to tell some private information about the victim and called her workplace.

Citizen. 19000 block 21st Ave. A woman witnessed a male taking photos of her residence after they discovered she had circulated an e-mail about a neighbor.

Suspicious circumstance. 16500 block Bothell Way NE. A driver twirling a knife was seen watching a citizen.

Criminal warrant. N. 205th St. and Aurora Ave. N. An individual was arrested on an outstanding $250 Seattle warrant following a pedestrian violation.

Person with weapon. 600 block NW. Richmond Beach Rd. An officer contacted two Tent City 3 residents and confiscated a metal pipe that one resident carried as a weapon.

Larceny. 800 block NE. 190th St. Tail lights were stolen from a truck parked on the street in front of a residence.

Larceny. 15800 block 9th Ave. NE. An unknown person removed taillights and a briefcase from the front seat of a truck and lifted up a tool box in the truck’s bed.

Burglary. 2300 block N. 156th Pl. An unknown person attempted to enter a residence.

Larceny. 17200 block First Ave. NE. Sometime overnight an unknown subject removed tail lights from a pick up truck.

Narcotics activity. 17500 block 15th Ave. NE. An anonymous caller reported drug activity.
