Shoreline

The Study Zone — 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, through Dec. 16 &Wednesdays, through Dec. 17: Study, do homework, and get help with questions. Students, grades K-12, can “drop in” for homework help any time during Study Zone hours. At the Shoreline Library, 345 NE 175th St. Info: 206-362-7550.

Teen Band Night — 7-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20: Shoreline/South County Family YMCA, 1120 NE 175th, Shoreline, offer this supervised teen program featuring local live bands. Cost: $3, open to the public. Info: Amy Holland, 206-364-1700.

Snoqualmie Pass trip — 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29: A day in the snow for ages 12-19. All ability levels welcome. Cost: $45 (lift ticket only) $65 (includes rental &lessons). Register: Shoreline Parks &Rec, 206-418-3383.

Hang Time at Kellogg Middle School — 3-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays: Shoreline/South County YMCA hosts this program for teens offering tutoring, leadership activities, intramural sports, arts &crafts, cooking, martial arts, and other activities at Kellogg Middle School, 16045 25th Ave. NE. “The REC” drop-in hours — 2:30-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 2:30 p.m.-midnight Fridays, 7 p.m.-midnight Saturdays: “The REC” at 16544 Fremont Ave. N., has reopened with new digs and daytime hours. This free, late-night teen program, is open to ages 12-19 with a variety of supervised recreational activities. Info: 206-542-6511.

“The ANNEX” drop-in hours — 8 p.m.-midnight Fridays &Saturdays: This free, late-night teen program is open to all teens ages 12-19 to hang with friends, shoot pool, play hoops, eat free food, and basically get away from it all. Lynnwood

The Neutral Zone — 9 p.m.-midnight Fridays &Saturdays: Free late-night program at Scriber Lake High School, 20525 52nd Ave. W., Lynnwood, offers supervised recreational and social activities for teens. Info: 425-776-5647.

Night Waves — 9:15-11:15 p.m. Saturdays: Swimming, racquetball, wallyball and weight room access exclusively for ages 12-18 at the Lynnwood Rec Center, 18900 44th Ave. W. Must wear white-soled shoes on racquetball courts. Picture ID required. Cost: $2. Info: 425-771-4030.

Teen Tuesdays — 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays: Teens ages 13-18 can join in on pizza feasts, movie nights, games and fun. Group also organizes volunteer projects and events that can earn community service hours for graduation. Free. Meets at the Lynnwood Rec Center, 18900 44th Ave. W. Info: 425-771-4030.

Mountlake Terrace
