Tell the council what you think about Center

  • Wednesday, August 13, 2008 6:08pm

On Monday Aug. 18 (Monday because Tuesday is an election day) at 7 p.m. at the City Council chambers, several of the issues involving the continuing crisis of the South County Senior Center will be on the City Council agenda. The public will likely be permitted to express opinions concerning the current operation involving financial condition, transparency of operation, future lease approval, directors’ working relationships with members, etc.

The “old guard” (unelected controlling directors) Senior Center officers will all be invited to inform the council of current conditions and likely future events. Again, individual citizens will likely be given the opportunity to speak out also.
