Newcastle — When it comes to buying a brand new condominium home in Newcastle, it all comes down to your “Approach.”
“Newcastle is a very desirable area for homebuyers, but the pricing of single-family homes can be prohibitive and the inventory of brand new condominiums in this area is especially low,” says Michael Miller, president of Miller Condominium Marketing. His firm is representing The Approach , a brand new condominium community in the city. “Our prices open up the opportunity to own in Newcastle for many buyers, making the condominiums a remarkably smart buy.”
The Approach is in the midst of its grand opening, having just completed construction. In two-week’s time, six of the 42 homes have been sold. The community offers buyers seven designs to choose from among two collections—a three-story building of two-bedroom corner homes and a four-story building of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, some of which include dens. The selection also includes two 1,893-square-foot penthouse homes. The two penthouses feature two bedrooms along with guest suites or home offices with their own in-suite baths .
“The homes are very thoughtfully laid out. In the west building, the corner homes offer access to the oversized deck from both the master suite and the second bedroom in addition to the great room,” says DeNae Nichols, community sales manager for The Approach. “In the east building’s three-bedroom plans, the master suite is separated from the additional two bedrooms for maximum privacy and in all of the homes there is an abundance of windows which fill the rooms with natural light.”
Underscoring the meticulous attention to detail that went into designing the homes, the windows are of the highest grade possible for glare, insulation and noise. To further ensure minimal sound transference between homes, the developer went the extra mile by hiring an outside consultant.
Interiors feature tile floor entries and kitchens, natural Alder cabinetry hand stained in Pecan or Nutmeg, and granite tile kitchen countertops. Kitchens come complete with a full stainless steel appliance package including refrigerator, gas range, microwave/hood and dishwasher. Gas fireplaces are framed in tile and master baths include a 12 inch tile surround with vertical decorative tile accents. While each home includes its own private, outdoor entertaining deck, a community courtyard with comfortable seating and barbeque brings residents together.
Adjacent to a wooded area for added privacy, the Approach at Newcastle sits up on a hill, lushly landscaped and tucked away from the heart of Newcastle. Less than one block away, homeowners will enjoy all the conveniences of the Coal Creek Shopping Center, including grocery, dry cleaners, coffee shop and casual and date-night dining. For outdoor enthusiasts, Lake Boren Park, the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, and the Golf Club at New Castle—named one of the “Top Clubs in Service” by Golf Digest — are all nearby.
In addition, from I-405 and I-90, commuters can head into downtown Seattle or downtown Bellevue in 15 or 10 minutes respectively.
The Approach at Newcastle is open daily from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Interested buyers can also view floor plans and details on www.approachcondos.com.
