Two thieves who stole a 1993 Honda Accord out of Mill Creek led police on a high speed pursuit Tuesday, Oct. 19 before the chase was ended for safety reasons.

A Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputy terminated the pursuit on Harbour Point Boulevard in Mukilteo, which is where the vehicle was last seen. The driver of the stolen car reached speeds of almost 100 mph.

The Honda Accord was reported stolen from the 14300 block of 15th Drive shortly before 4:30 a.m., approximately three minutes after the vehicle was stolen.

Mill Creek police did an area check but didn’t locate the Honda. Dispatch, however, reported that a Snohomish County Deputy was trailing the vehicle. The vehicle did not pull over and the pursuit began.

The pursuit went north to Everett, before returning to Mill Creek and then winding its way to Mukilteo. Police from Everett and Lynnwood provided assistance, as did the Washington State Patrol.

Two suspects were in the vehicle, a maroon 1993 Honda Accord. No description of the suspects was available. The driver was wearing a hooded sweatshirt that covered his head and face.

Anyone with information as to the vehicle’s location or possible suspects are urged to call Mill Creek police at 425-337-1115 or call 911.
