Two businesses along the Bothell-Everett Highway and one on 164th Street SE were both burglarized in the last week.

The Port of Subs restaurant on Bothell-Everett Highway was broken into early Sunday morning, Oct. 24, the first of the recent string.

Mill Creek police responded to an audible alarm at the business shortly after 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the business was broken into, and that an unspecified amount of cash was taken.

Police searched the area unsuccessfully for a suspect or suspects.

In another incident, the Mill Creek Dentist, located at 16306 Bothell-Everett Highway, was broken into shortly before 3:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25.

Police responded to the commercial burglary alarm, and found the lock to the business was pried. A check of the business found nothing missing, however.

In a third incident, reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. Oct. 25, the Elliott Bay Pizza &Sub restaurant at 800 164th Street SE was burglarized overnight. A video camera and a disc of digital pictures were taken.

The burglaries bring the total number of business burglaries in Mill Creek in the last two months to nine. A pair of Town Center businesses were burglarized Oct. 14, and four businesses along Bothell-Everett Highway were burglarized during the early morning hours of Aug. 31.

Mill Creek Police are investigating all three of last week’s burglaries.
