I was a tech-ed person, studying textile design, then owned my own business as a designer and clothier. I also did aerospace drafting, developed an appreciation for manufacturing from working with my father, graduated from Washington State University as a teacher and started a fashion program at Lake Washington Technical College. Later, I had an opportunity to work with the Workforce Development Council on a grant program to further the education of workers at Providence Everett Medical Center and Stevens Hospital in radiology. Seems like I’ve spent my whole life in manufacturing, teaching and work-force development, which is a great fit for my present role.
