On June 19 an Eagle Court of Honor was held for Robert O’Neill and Christopher Iverson, members of Boy Scout Troop 221, at Advent Lutheran Church in Snohomish.

O’Neill graduated from Archbishop Murphy High School last year and is currently attending Washington State University. For his Eagle project he installed a flagpole in front of Archbishop Murphy High School. His parents are Gerard and Sally O’Neill.

Iverson graduated from Jackson High School last year and is currently in the engineering program at the University of Portland. For his Eagle project he built a cabinet for the residents of Arbor Place Retirement Center to store their games and crafts in. His parents are Don and Terrie Iverson.

Robert O’Neill and Christopher Iverson are both members of the Order of the Arrow and attended a National Boy Scout Jamboree together in Virginia.

Both boys grew up in Mill Creek and have known each other since elementary school. O’Neill and Iverson received their Eagle Rank last year, but with high school graduation ceremonies and attending college the Eagle Ceremony was delayed.
