‘Unkind’ vandalism left in house

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds Police Department’s crime blotter:

Jan. 13

Malicious mischief. 300 block of Howell Way. Report of a vehicle window being shattered while the vehicle was parked on a city street. Ignition also damaged. No suspects.

Jan. 12

Burglary. 8500 block of 184th St. SW. Unknown person(s) entered a house under construction and wrote unkind words and drew phallic pictures on various surfaces.

Burglary. 22700 block of Highway 99. Vehicle stolen during a burglary of Manhattan Auto Sales.

DUI. 20900 block of 76th Ave. W. Witness reported drunk driver to 911. Driver arrested for DUI and outstanding warrant.

Jan. 5

Accident. 23000 block of Highway 99. United #1 was traveling southbound in the center turn lane of Highway 99, and Unit #2 was traveling southbound in the left lane of the same. Unit #1 intentionally steered to the left and impacted Unit #2. Unit #2 came to rest partially in the center turn lane and the left southbound lane. Both drivers are known to each other, and the passenger in Unit #1 is the wife of the driver in Unit #2.
