Two more men have been charged with first-degree kidnapping in the March 4 abduction of a man from an auto dealership in Edmonds.
Luis J. Cortez, 25, and Rafael Fonseca Caro, 32, were charged Monday in Snohomish County Superior Court with first-degree kidnapping.
A third man, Antonio Garcia-Barbosa, 24, of Bellevue was charged March 10 with the same crime.
Caro, of Kirkland, and Cortez, whose hometown was not given, are being sought on warrants asking $100,000 bail each. Garcia-Barbosa was being held in the Snohomish County jail on $100,000 bail.
Prosecutors said one man lured an auto dealership employee away from his job, and then four men jumped out of a sports utility vehicle wearing Drug Enforcement Administration garb. They ushered the victim into the vehicle and drove to an apartment in Renton.
They tortured him and asked him to call people to post a ransom, court documents say.
The kidnappers fell asleep, and the victim was able to escape and summon help, court papers say.
