Megan Jeanne Shrader (Alexander) and Christopher Brian Cournoyer were married Jan. 19, 2008 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Seattle. A semi-formal reception followed at the Washington Athletic Club. The couple honeymooned on the island of Antigua.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Shrader of Edmonds. The groom is the son of Sue Van Paepeghem of Everett and John Cournoyer of Arlington.
Raised in Edmonds, the bride graduated from Westmont College in California with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She is currently a reporter for the syndicated television show “Inside Edition.”
Originally from Snohomish, the groom is a graduate of University of Houston, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. He currently co-owns the cell phone accessories chain I-Wireless and owns Edge Entertainment, an event planning company.
The couple currently reside in the New York City area.
