Wesco 4A South Division honors top athletes

Several players from Edmonds-Woodway and Meadowdale earned first-team, all-Western Conference South Division football honors.

First-team recognition went to Edmonds-Woodway’s Travis Smith (running back), Dane Johnson (lineman), Andrew Donaldson (tight end), Grady Harmon (kicker, punter), Andrew Rochon (defensive end), Jesse Ballou (defensive tackle), Jeff Ball (linebacker), Brandon Huppert (linebacker) and Andrew Prebezac (linebacker) and Meadowdale’s Jake Linton (receiver), Jeremy Harbison (lineman), Joe Mustard (lineman), Andy Steves (defensive end) and Jordan Dodge (linebacker).

Three Meadowdale girls soccer players were selected to the Wesco South first team. Joining the Meadowdale contingent of Jessica Duty (midfielder), Brooke Simons (midfielder) and Alexandra Dunsdon (defender) on the first team were Edmonds-Woodway’s Alex Kirk (forward) and Hayley Zevenbergen (midfielder), Mountlake Terrace’s Kerstein Torrescano (forward) and Miranda Hanson (goalkeeper) and Lynnwood’s Sarah Smart (forward).

Edmonds-Woodway’s Erin Greenwood (hitter) and Charlene Toma (setter) were recognized with first-team, all-league volleyball honors.
