The Wesco Junior Football program’s annual jamboree is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27, at Edmonds Stadium.
Wesco Junior Football includes teams from Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Stanwood, Mukilteo and the Meadowdale High School area. About 1,200 youths play in the league in four divisions — peewee (first and second grade), 89er (third and fourth grade), junior (fifth and sixth grade) and senior (seventh and eighth grade). The league has no weight limits so athletes from the same age group play together.
