Who will be on the primary ballot

Here are the names that will appear on the Aug. 7 primary ballot.

In most cases, the top two vote-getters advance to the Nov 6 general election regardless of party.

In races for the state Supreme Court, any candidate who gets a majority of the primary vote appears unopposed in November.

In the one contested race for Snohomish County Superior Court, a candidate who gets a majority in the primary wins without running in November. Fourteen unopposed candidates won without an election.
