Wilson named exec of year by state group

Liz Wilson, member of the Lynnwood Public Facilities District Board, has been named the Washington Society of Association Executive’s 2008 Association Executive of the Year.

Wilson, executive vice president of the Washington Bankers Association, has been involved in association management for more than 25 years.

She was WSAE President in 2006, after having served on the board of directors for many years. Wilson has also chaired WSAE’s Convention Committee, Membership Committee, and others. Last year, she was the recipient of WSAE’s coveted Rhinoceros Award.

In addition to her leadership role in WSAE and the public facilities district, she’s served with the Children’s Hospital Advisory Council and the Lynnwood High School Parent Faculty Association.
