I am the president of IAFF Local 2781, we are the representing body for the firefighters of Snohomish County Fire District 7. SCFD 7 is the contracting agency for the city of Mill Creek. Recently Mill Creek City Council candidate Chuck Wright took out an advertisement stating he was endorsed by the “firefighters.” L2781 endorsed Mark Harmsworth before the primary and continues to endorse him now. The firefighters that serve the community of Mill Creek strongly support Mark Harmsworth and believe he is the best candidate for the position. It’s simple; his signs state “supported by firefighters.” This is honest and true of the firefighters that are in the community for which he is representing.
