Why settle for only one lawyer on case?

Recently it was announced that public taxpayers’ funds in the amount of $300,000 will be given to Gary Ridgway’s attorney to hire three more lawyers and an investigator to ‘assist’ in his defense. Makes sense. We wouldn’t want a suspected mass-murderer to scrimp by on just one lawyer!

Meanwhile, Gov. Locke announced more cutbacks on dental care for poor folks and attendants for people in wheelchairs. “Shortages” you see!
