Tax-Deductible Contributions Will Help Fund Our Newsroom
The Daily Herald Journalism Funds are part of an effort to find new ways to help pay for the journalism that plays such an important role in a vibrant community and democracy.
We have two journalism funds accepting tax-deductible donations:
The Investigative Journalism Fund will provide resources for in-depth investigative reporting. Already, we've surpassed the halfway mark of our first-year goal to raise $250,000. To donate to the investigative fund, please go to www.heraldnet.com/investigativedonate.
The Environmental and Climate Change Journalism Fund will enhance our reporting of climate issues. This latest grass-roots initiative already has drawn support from the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County, the Washington State Sierra Club, and 350 Everett, a climate action group. To donate to the environmental fund, go to www.heraldnet.com/climatedonate.
These funds, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Snohomish County, offer an opportunity to make contribution to help support local journalism.
We’re pleased to have your backing as we seek resources to help us cover topics that are important to our readers.
You can make checks payable to Community Foundation of Snohomish County.
