What help will city’s leaders be seeking?

I read in The Herald that the Marysville City Council approved prayers in their meetings (“Marysville council OKs prayers before meetings,” Jan. 10). What will they pray for? That felonies will not be brought to light? Or if anyone is caught, that they can evade justice? This divine guidance may set a new standard throughout the county, but it seems to me that we all have bigger issues to address.
