Continued support will help us increase services

Published 9:00 pm Friday, April 26, 2002

Thank you, Snohomish County residents. Assistance League of Everett has been able to maintain its program this year with your support. Operation School Bell provided warm school clothing to 1,601 students before closing early due to relocation. Other programs allowed 60 graduating seniors to finance graduation expenses; six received dental care and over 200 teddy bears were provided to Providence Sexual Assault Center and the Snohomish County Domestic Violence Unit. The Kitty Young Auxiliary provides clothing for sexual assault victims.

A special thank you to Dr. Carol Whitehead, superintendent of Everett Public Schools, and her staff for locating space for Operation School Bell to rent while our new facilities are being constructed.

The demands on our services are ever increasing but with your continuing support our services will expand.
