Religious freedom is a key value

We hope the cartoon by Brian Farrington that was printed on the opinion page March 8 is tongue-in-cheek! It insinuated that the 9th Circuit court has no values and that people who don’t believe in God have no values.

How fortunate we are that we live in a country that was founded on freedom of religious belief, the ideal that “all men are created equal” and where the true test of “values” is the golden rule.
