What’s in a name? Let the people decide

I consider the news in your August 8 story about the Everett arena not having a corporate name yet a good thing and an opportunity. The people of Everett and the state will put up the vast majority of the money to build the arena. It should be their arena, not some corporation that buys the name for a small percentage of the total cost.

Better to name the arena the USS Lincoln in honor of our local heroes.
