They’re not given adequate gear

We hear unbelievable stories of our servicemen and women being sent to war without adequate protection and clothing, including flak jackets and even sunglasses. It is radically different than when my husband went to war (World War II). He had all the equipment he needed for his personal sfety and health, and good food to insure top performance. Also, at the end of the war he was given the option of a free college education through the GI Bill.

I don’t see that kind of support from this present administration. This is war on the cheap; the problem is, not one of our sons and daughters should receive less than 100 percent support for their sacrifice in a war which has turned into a nightmare.
