EVERETT – Snohomish County’s largest business trade show will showcase products and services from about 50 exhibitors Wednesday at the Everett Events Center.
The Everett Area Business Expo runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the conference area at the events center, which is at the corner of Hewitt Avenue and Broadway.
The event, presented by Electronic Business Machines Inc. and the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce, is free and open to the public.
Free seminars will be at 10 and 11a.m., and 2 and 3 p.m., according to the chamber. Topics will include “Working With the Media,” “Small Business Franchising” and “Creating an Effective Advertising Plan.”
The Everett chamber also will have its annual business meeting from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the center. The cost is $35 for chamber members and $45 for nonmembers and those who register late.
The keynote speaker will be Steve Banta, Verizon’s president for the Northwest and Southwest regions. He will speak on “The Telecommunications Revolution.”
The luncheon program also will include the chamber’s annual report to members and a look at the organization’s plans for 2005.
