We can’t afford to say no to company

I am appalled that Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson is going turn to his back on any company interested in opening a facility and creating jobs in Everett, especially a company the size of Airbus. It would be preposterous if a mayor in Wichita took the same position and refused to welcome a foreign company like Bombardier because of a loyalty to Boeing and Raytheon. Cities like Wichita and Fort Worth have a more diverse portfolio of aerospace industry giants and lower tier suppliers, and are better able to withstand the economic ups and downs of the industry.
