Maintain separation of church and state

What the heck happened to the separation of church and state? John Koster’s personal views should not interfere with his job as a councilman. Thanks to Julie Muhlstein (Sunday column “Officials should know: People vote with dollars, too”) for keeping open eyes and an open mind.

As a lesbian, living openly with my partner of 15 years, I appreciate most of Julie’s views but more importantly, I thank her for an open mind.
