Art sale to help disabled adults
An art sale to raise money for a nonprofit group that aids disabled adults will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo.
The sale benefits Eagle Wings Disability Ministries, which offers parties for disabled adults to encourage them to get out of their homes and socialize.
Seattle artist Didi Prentice has donated watercolor paintings for the exhibition and sale.
Annual rodeo in Darrington
The Darrington Rodeo is planned for 1 p.m. today and Sunday at the Darrington Rodeo Grounds. Event categories include bulls, broncos and calf-roping.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for seniors, military personnel, and children between 7 and 18. Kids younger than 7 get in free.
The rodeo grounds are about three miles west of Darrington on Highway 530.
