A three-bedroom, 1.75-bath tri-level on a 1.05-acre cul-de-sac lot near downtown Marysville is our featured home today. It was built in 1963 and extensively remodeled and updated in 1990.

The property includes a beautiful wooded native growth area behind the house, with tall evergreen trees and Allen Creek running through it.

The front door opens to a foyer with mica stone flooring. To the immediate left is a formal living room with plush carpeting and a large bay window overlooking the front yard.

A formal dining area is adjacent to the living room and has plush carpeting and recessed lights. The area combines with the kitchen and family room in an open floorplan.

Kitchen features include white-oak cabinets and flooring, laminate countertops, several cupboards with glass doors, and an angled breakfast bar.

An informal dining area next to the kitchen has white-oak flooring and three picture windows overlooking the woods.

Features of the family room include a carpeted floor, a wall of windows facing the woods, a paned-glass door accessing a multi-level backyard deck with hot tub, and another similar door accessing a breezeway between the house and a detached two-car garage.

The nicely landscaped back yard has an aggregate patio and flower garden.

There are two short staircases near the foyer — one ascends to the upper level, the other descends to the lower level.

At the top of the ascending staircase is a hall with red-oak flooring. The hall leads to a full bathroom and all three bedrooms.

The bathroom has a painted wood double vanity topped with laminate, vinyl flooring, and a shower-tub combination with tile surround.

All three bedrooms have red-oak flooring and double closets with louvered wood doors. One bedroom overlooks the front yard — the other two face the woods, and one of them has a large bay window.

The descending staircase accesses an extra-large rec room with commercial-grade carpeting, knotty cedar plank walls, built-in cabinets, and a gas fireplace with brick hearth and surround. A sliding glass door opens to a small concrete patio overlooking the woods.

A laundry room and adjacent storage area on the lower level complete the home.
