The Husky football season comes to a merciful end tonight, or maybe early tomorrow, in Hawaii in a game that starts at 8:30 Pacific (Page E1). This is a good thing, because the Dawgs generally have not been ready for prime time in the second half.
Let’s hope the Huskies write a decent ending to their 2007 team video, which so far is a lot like “Apocalypse Now”: Thrilling beginning, disappointing middle, long, excruciating ending — and the whole thing left fans looking for blood. You can almost smell the napalm.
After spoiling some Christmas surprises, Facebook.com is changing its policy of automatically tracking your purchases at other Web sites, then blabbing to your friends about what you bought.
