You have to sink a lot lower to embarrass NBC

If you caught the Golden Globes on TV the other night, you might agree with today’s commentary ridiculing it as a “disaster” and an embarrassment to NBC.
NBC responded by saying if you really want to see an embarrassment, tune in for “American Gladiators” every Monday.
Speaking of disasters, “Good Luck Chuck” was shut out at the Golden Globes. But it does show up in today’s paper among the new DVD releases.
It also shows up in Elizabeth Smoots’ column on cures for insomnia.
It’s rough out there: A letter writer tells Carolyn Hax his problem is that when he meets two women, he can’t decide which one to date, so he wants both.
It all goes back to high school, where he was voted Most Likely to Be Hated by Both Men and Women for Completely Different Reasons.
And in auto news, Ford is offering glass roofs on some 2008 models. The roofs offer panoramic views from the back seat of your car.
The roofs are perfect for romantic evenings, stargazing with your sweetie. Just don’t make it too romantic. It’s a panoramic view in, too.
