Have the Huskies finally found their DC?

No official word has come from the school yet, but reports today are that former NFL assistant Ed Donatell has been offered that job at Washington.

Donatell, who served as a graduate assistant under Don James at Washington, served as defensive coordinator for the Packers and Falcons, working under Jim Mora in Atlanta. He lost that Job when Mora was fired, and spent last season working for the Jets as an advisor.

A school spokesman told me earlier today that no official word is likely to come today. Tyrone Willingham’s policy has been that he won’t comment until a hire is made, so an official announcement could take a few days.
