UW duo nabs Pac-10 prizes

Shorewood High School graduate Angela Wishaar and King’s graduate Heather Reichmann received first-team Pac-10 all-academic track and field honors.

The University of Washington teammates were two of a record 33 Huskies named to the all-academic track teams.

Wishaar, a sophomore classics major, boasts a 3.80 GPA. She qualified for the Pac-10 championships with a 1,500-meter time of 4:39.04.

Reichmann, an NCAA All-American and school record holder in the javelin, paired a seventh-place finish in the javelin at nationals with a 3.72 GPA in the master’s teaching program.
