It’s Dads’ Night at tonight’s Snohomish County Explosion game. All fathers get in free to watch the team take on the Central Oregon Hotshots. Former Sonics star Shawn Kemp can get in free up to a dozen times.

If you’ve been too busy to keep up, the Explosion is Monroe’s minor-league basketball team. Not to be confused with the Implosion, which is an alternate name for this year’s Seattle Mariners.

Hospitals have been using undercover “patients” to spy on health care workers and grade their work.

Doctors are worried that the sham patients are getting in the way of real ones, but there is a quick test they can use to see whether a patient is real:

Step 1: Take out large medical instrument.

Step 2: Ask patient to drop trou.

Step 3: Say “this will hurt just a bit.”

Step 4: See whether patient runs away.

Abby gives a long, thoughtful response, but she could’ve just asked if he leaves the toilet seat down.
