Wine, chocolate key to staying fit on vacation

Go outdoors and get fit: Today’s Good Life page features a “fitness vacation” for women only. Note to any husband thinking of giving his wife a “fitness vacation” for her birthday: Proceed at your own peril.
On the trip, women go to the bucolic Cascade foothills. There, they take nature hikes and yoga classes, then gorge on wine, cheese and chocolate. Discussions about feelings ensue, which creates an invisible force field that prevents men from coming within a 10-mile radius.
Sonics fans held their breath as Wally Walker took the stand Friday in Seattle’s trial to hold the team to its lease.
Walker is best known for two things: looking awkward in his short shorts during his playing days and leading the team’s headlong nosedive into mediocrity as general manager.
On the stand, Walker was accused of a dastardly plan to make things difficult on the Sonics’ current owners and force them to sell. But Walker has a great defense. We have years of horrible basketball that prove he’s incapable of carrying out some sort of complex plan.
