Dancing the afternoon away

If three weeks of fall camp has caught up to the Huskies, they didn’t show it in the early portions of this afternoon’s practice. Maybe it was the return of nice weather, or maybe it was the Michael Jackson blaring from the speakers, but players seemed upbeat and in a light mood while going through warmups.
Freshmen Chris Polk and Kavario Middleton each showed off some nice moves dancing to Thriller, though it made me feel old realizing both were born well after that song’s release.
As for who was/wasn’t there, the only missing people we noticed were punter/kicker Jared Ballman, tailback Willie Griffin, receiver Chancellor Young, and safety Jason Wells. Griffin reportedly hurt his back yesterday, and Wells is presumably still dealing with his knee injury. We’re not sure why Young and Ballman weren’t there.
All for now. I’ll leave you with a link to the Thriller video, just in case the mere mention of the song made you want to hear it. Enjoy.
