Seahawks throw a few down memory lane

Just like old times: Koren Robinson hit the practice field for the Seahawks, wearing No. 18 because the Seahawks have run out of regular wide-receiver numbers in the 80s. Also, because players are afraid to wear wide-receiver numbers for the Hawks.
Meanwhile, the terms of Robinson’s contract were disclosed. He’ll make $730,000 as long as he stays out of trouble. His designated driver also signed a one-year, $100,000 deal.
More reminiscing: Josh Brown will be back, kicking at Qwest Field this Sunday as a member of the enemy. Brown says he was upset about his treatment by the Seahawks, and that’s why he left, not the $14 million St. Louis gave him.
The first 10,000 fans who go to the game will receive replicas of the world’s smallest violin.
In political news, a Nebraska city council candidate has apologized in advance for sending out annoying automated calls to voters.
Voters said that’s all well and good, but they wondered why he had to apologize using fliers in the mail, flashing Internet banners, spam, text messages and pop-up ads during the season premiere of “House.”
