Tuesday practice notes

Lot’s of people sidelined or limited at today’s practice.

Jake Locker was obviously out a day after surgery on his thumb. He was joined on the sideline by Chris Polk, who had shoulder surgery last week, Darin Harris, who is still recovering from a concussion, Erik Folk, who has a hip injury, and David Freeman (ankle), who was in full pads but wasn’t doing any drills while we were there.

Byron Davenport, who Willingham told us today needs knee surgery, was doing a little work on the stadium stairs.

Safety Victor Aiyewa, who has been out since playing limited minutes against Oregon, was back at practice today, and from the little bit we saw, seemed to be moving pretty well. D’Andre Goodwin (ribs) was in a red jersey and moving rather gingerly after reaching to catch a pass. Donald Butler (concussion) was suited up and practicing, though in a red (no contact) jersey.
