Pack’s Rodgers expected to play against Seahawks

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss practice time again this week but is expected to play at Seattle on Sunday.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday he plans to have Rodgers on the field against the Seahawks despite the sprained right shoulder that nearly sidelined Rodgers for the Packers’ 27-24 loss to Atlanta. Rodgers played through pain against the Falcons, and played well.

The Packers don’t practice Tuesday, and Rodgers is likely to sit out practice Wednesday while he rehabilitates the injury. He might return to practice Thursday on a limited basis.
