69-0 a moral victory for Cougars

Take that, USC! Washington State held the Trojans under 70 points in yesterday’s football game. It all came down to a dramatic blocked extra point on one of USC’s 10 touchdowns.
The Trojans will have to be content with a 69-0 victory and whatever gold they could plunder on their way out of Pullman after they burned every building to the ground.
And the Husky football team turned its season around against Oregon State. That’s right, they won, 3-0! At least that’s what we’ll assume, since we turned off the TV in the middle of the first quarter to go enjoy the sunshine. Why chance it when things are going so well for a change?
We’re just full of good news today. In fact, business is booming — you just have to know where to look. Funeral homes are expecting things to really take off in the coming years, a fact morticians were celebrating at a recent convention in Orlando.
No one knows how to cut loose at a convention like morticians. Things get kind of crazy after people have been inhaling embalming fluid all day and someone pulls out a whoopee cushion.
